An invitation to listen to the whispers of your body and come home to yourself.

Polyvagal-informed Yoga weaves the traditional teachings of yoga with the understanding of the vagus nerve from the Polyvagal Theory, which plays a central role in our emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing.

Moving through sequences of somatic yoga postures, conscious breathing techniques, mindfulness & vagal toning exercises, work with the body towards reclaiming safety, resilience, and connection.

Guided by Anna, this practice is rooted in compassion, inviting gentleness, curiosity, and choice, to help you move towards possibility, authenticity, and freedom within yourself.

About the Polyvagal Theory by Stephen Porges

The Polyvagal Theory recognises the role of the vagus nerve in emotion regulation, social connection, and fear response. Working with the vagus nerve (which extends from the brainstem down into our stomach and intestines, passing through our heart and lungs, and connecting our throat and facial muscles) can support healing from trauma, anxiety, PTSD and improve our overall health and wellbeing.

What to expect in a Polyvagal-informed Yoga session?

Presence: Cultivate presence and connection by curiously exploring physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts.

Learning: A practical exploration of the function of the nervous system and the vagus nerve (the Polyvagal Theory)

Choice & Safety: A sense of inner safety is the foundation for coming back home to yourself, healing and transformation. We cultivate safety in the nervous system through choice. You are invited to move through the practice with freedom to opt-in or opt-out attuning to your own needs and honouring them.

Embodiment: Explore the mind-body connection through conscious breathing, physical postures, and vagal toning exercises to reconnect with the body’s inherent wisdom.

Community Connection: Feel supported and held by the community with space for (optional) sharing and learning together.

Anna Przybylo

Anna is a Yoga teacher and somatic facilitator. Her work bridges ancient wisdom with modern embodiment practices. With over 700 hours of training in traditional Hatha, Yin, Pregnancy, Hormone, and Polyvagal-Informed Yoga, she offers trauma-aware classes that integrate asana, pranayama, meditation and yogic philosophy to guide students into deeper presence and body awareness.

Her approach is heart-centered and invites a gentle unraveling—an attunement to the body’s rhythms, the nervous system, and the wisdom held within the cycles of life. Rooted in the teachings of yoga and cyclical awareness, and informed by approaches like Compassionate Inquiry, Anna’s work becomes an invitation to remember your true nature, release stored emotions and patterns and open to the potential of the present moment.
