LucyBloom Day Retreat December Dublin Segotia

Source with LucyBloom

Past event
A Two Part day retreat to return to self, source inspiration and create intention for the year ahead. First we will connect somatically in an intensive Yoga workshop - this is designed to deepen your awareness of the source of who you are and to get clear on your path ahead. In the latter half of the day, we will go on a journey with the rose as a plant medicine guide in combination with a breathwork practice which will allow you to release on a physical, emotional and energetic level.
Part 1: Entering the Void (1.30pm - 4.30pm) A 3 hour Yoga workshop centred around Pratyahara: the practice of removing the senses in order to commune with the infinite. After the busyness of December as well as the ending of the year, we enter the void before beginning again - this is a crucial part of the cycle. This workshop will be an exploration of your inner state in relation to your yoga practice. Throughout a series of practices designed to develop your own intuition both on and off the mat, you will create space for answers and insights to naturally arise by removing external sensory input. Over the 3 hours we will explore the inner state using asana & pranayama as our means to experience Pratiyahara, which in essence is the gateway to deeper clarity of mind. There will be time at the end of this workshop for intention setting for 2025. Part 2: Rose Tea Ceremony (6pm - 8.30pm) When the Rose calls you, you will intuitively know. The rose is one of the most ancient plant medicines on planet earth. Used for centuries as a healing herb as well as an energetic medicine to tap into the Divine Feminine within and all that she represents: beauty, spiritual connection to Venus, fierce protection and the unfoldment of being. The rose is one of the most prolific blooms on the planet, whether we connect with her via ingestion, scent, touch, meditation or connection with her through the spirit of Mary Magdalene, she can offer us deep healing in the most Feminine way. Rose medicine has been used for: Depression/ anxiety Heart opening Circulatory issues Psycho-spiritual imbalances Inflammation Painful periods Cell regeneration During this Rose Tea ceremony, you will go on a journey with the Rose as our plant medicine ally. Connecting with her through drinking Rose tea as well as dropping into deep embodied Rose Meditations, this will be a deep dive into Divine Feminine work, helping you to access the divine & creative potential within the depths of your being. Part 1 - Entering the Void: €50 Part 2 - Rose Tea Ceremony: €50 Full Retreat: €90
