Embrace a self care practice of stillness
As winter starts to descend, the natural world calls us to go inwards. But the busy festive season beginning to build demands the opposite of us. This is an opportunity to slow down, listen to your body, and respond with deep rest.
Geimhrigh means to winter, or to hibernate in Irish. Join Sarah McKenna for a 90 minute “wintering” restorative yoga experience, taking inspiration from the season of hibernation, as we progress into winter.
On a day with superstitious connotations, Friday 13th, we invite you to welcome that sense of unknown and the darkness that lies ahead by embracing a self care practice of stillness, contemplation, and acceptance of the season.
Through long held, restorative yoga postures and breath awareness, we ask the body what it needs to sustain at the turning point of the season.
Having created an environment where the senses are encouraged to widen, optional aspects of aromatherapy weaved throughout to create a full, sensory experience that grounds you even deeper in your body and the moment.
