Feeling the fire of becoming
An afternoon of somatic movement, aromatherapy, breath, and the ancient wisdom of the Cailleach.
Perimenopause is a powerful threshold, not a problem to manage as we’re sold it. Samhain is the old Celtic turning point into winter, when the veil thins and the Cailleach takes the land to cast winter’s spell, clearing the path for what’s next. As seasons of our bodies change, this two-hour session uses this turning point as a map for midlife.
Together, we work with seasonal wisdom, the Cailleach, and ancestral connection to get a clearer understanding of what our bodies are telling us. The disrupted sleep, the rage, the fog, the heat, the restlessness. We meet all as body signals, as the start of a descent that carries its own intelligence.
The workshop begins with grounding breath, using yogandha embodiment oils to awaken the senses and anchor you in your body. Once you have landed, Sinéad will guide you through gentle, somatic movement. This practice is designed to meet you where you are, with floor-based, accessible flows to take at your own pace.
From here, you will explore the archetype that impacts the symptoms of hormonal transformation and recalibration. This is a guided self-study to find where your personal imbalances are, or where they are likely to appear, to help you navigate the changes as they come.
The workshop draws to a close with a plant and scent ritual, inviting you to notice what you’re ready to leave behind at the threshold, combined with a deep pelvic-bowl re-association practice. There will be time for rest and a slow return to the room together before the ritual closes.
You’ll leave with a felt sense of your own wintering, as well as simple practices to carry into the dark half of the year and the next chapters of your life.
This is for women 35+ navigating burnout, perimenopause, menopause, identity shifts, and a longing to reconnect with the body and inner authority. No yoga or meditation experience needed. No flexibility required.

Sinéad Duffy
Sinéad Duffy is a consciousness coach and founder of yogandha embodiment oils and Seasonal Being, where she draws on the Celtic wheel, plant wisdom, and women’s return to cyclical living. She has studied seventeen forms of meditation, from four months in a Javanese ashram in the 90s to Vipassana in India, and also holds degrees in philosophy and human rights.
For Sinéad, perimenopause brought a profound shift in consciousness. She now helps women explore what that shift might mean in their own lives. Featured in the Irish Independent as a “menopause shit-stirrer”, she’s working to flip the story of peri+meno from decline to transformation: a deepening of confidence, clarity, and calm that our younger selves could only dream of.
