Notice the subtle symbols and visual motifs moving through your inner world
A playful way to connect with what’s unfolding around you and within you at the swell of the Spring Equinox.
This gentle, exploratory workshop invites you to notice the subtle symbols and visual motifs moving through your inner world. Guided by Niamh Barry, create a personal “omen” or seasonal totem – a visual anchor for what’s happening in your life – using intuitive collage, colour, and composition.
The session begins with grounding breath and a short reflective prompt to settle you into the space and your body before transitioning into guided intuitive collage. The focus is on listening, following instinct, and allowing imagery to reveal meaning.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a beautiful, symbolic piece that’s entirely personal to you, and a deeper sense of inner clarity.
Honouring the pagan tradition of Ostara – the moment when night and day are falling into balance – this is the perfect opportunity to look for where balance might be calling in your own life. A time of fertility, rebirth, and new life in nature, harness the energies of the season into nurturing and forming new ideas and patterns for the months ahead.
All creative materials will be provided, including collage papers, magazines, coloured papers, adhesives, basic drawing materials, and backing paper or card. You are welcome to bring a personal image or small paper item if you feel drawn to incorporate it into your collage.
A warm, welcoming atmosphere, herbal tea and light treats will be provided during the workshop, allowing for gentle pauses for rest and reflection throughout the session.
