Exploring the Chinese element of Autumn: metal
Join Margarita for a workshop exploring the wisdom of Chinese Metaphysics, where the Five Elements relate to the movement of the seasons.
Guided by Margarita, explore the qualities and symbolism of Metal, the element traditionally associated with Autumn, uncovering how this element can offer a different perspective as we transition between polar seasons.
Using Chinese Astrology, also known as BaZi, your birth chart will serve as a starting point to explore themes of strong will, endurance, and stamina, but also elegance, eloquence, and charm, as you uncover your unique Day Master and how it connects to Metal.
Through an accessible introduction to the Five Elements and guided reflections, you are invited to consider your own elemental makeup and how the qualities of Metal relate to your life; your internal systems and your physical surroundings.
Rather than approaching Chinese Astrology as a system of prediction, this workshop offers it as a framework for self-reflection and contemplation, finding harmony through knowledge. As the elements move through their natural cycles, as do the seasons, and as do we.
Autumn is a time to slow down as we transition from the fiery energy of summer towards the cool, flowing months of winter. In Chinese metaphysics, the Five Elements are connected to the patterns of change found in nature, with the Metal element linked to Autumn.
No previous knowledge of Chinese Astrology is required.
