Segotia Membership

Overview
Segotia Membership is designed to support the sustainability of Segotia Studios while offering members access to a range of benefits across our classes, workshops, events, and facilities.
Segotia exists because of its community. Membership is not required to access the Studio. It is a voluntary way to contribute to the continuation and growth of a shared creative space.

Membership Offering
Membership is limited to 108 members at any one time.
For a monthly fee of €108, members receive:
Up to 10 yoga classes per calendar month
25% discount on selected workshops and creative courses
10% discount on treatments in the Treatment Room
Priority presale access to artworks in the Segotia Gallery Programme
10% discount on artwork purchases
10% discount on teas, coffees, and matcha in the Segotia Coffee Dock
20% discount on merchandise
Up to 2 hours use of the meeting room per month

All benefits are subject to availability, scheduling, and capacity. Minimum 3 month commitment.

Payments & Billing

Membership is billed at €108 per month on a recurring basis
Payments are non-refundable, except where required by law
Benefits reset monthly and do not roll over
Membership is personal and non-transferable
Cancellation any time after the first 3 months

Yoga Classes (Included in Membership)

Members may attend up to 10 classes per calendar month
All classes must be booked in advance
Classes are subject to availability

Cancellations & No-Shows

A minimum of 6 hours’ notice is required to cancel a class
Late cancellations or failure to attend will result in loss of that class credit
Members must arrive at least 10 minutes before class
Latecomers may not be admitted and may lose their place

Waitlist access and booking behaviour are subject to Segotia’s standard Class Waitlist Policy.

Workshops & Courses

Membership discounts apply to selected workshops and courses only
Discount codes will be emailed to members with applicable workshops and courses.
This is an occasional perk sent out at the studios discretion.
Members cannot choose which workshop/course they can apply this discount to.
Standard 72-hour cancellation policy applies
Failure to attend or late cancellation will result in full charge

Discounts & Benefits

All discounts are non-transferable and apply only to the named member
Discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless stated
Certain events, workshops, or products will be excluded at management discretion

Artwork & Exhibitions

Presale access provides early opportunity to purchase, not guaranteed availability

Meeting Room Usage

Includes 2 hours per month, subject to availability
Must be booked in advance through the BSport App
Time does not roll over
Use must align with general studio conduct and usage policies
Additional time is charged at the standard rate and can be applied to your account automatically

General Studio Rules (Applies to All Members)
All members are bound by Segotia’s general Terms & Conditions, including:

Respectful behaviour towards staff and other participants at all times
Strict adherence to health & safety guidelines
No smoking, vaping, or substance use on the premises
No attendance under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Compliance with all staff instructions

Additional key conditions:

Members must be 18 years or over
Studio capacity limits apply at all times
Timetables and facilitators may change without notice
CCTV is in operation for safety and security
Personal belongings are the responsibility of the member
Lockers are for temporary use only

Members must not:

Damage or misuse studio property
Disrupt classes or events
Record or photograph others without consent
Bring phones into the yoga studio

Conduct & Termination
Segotia reserves the right to:

Refuse entry
Suspend or terminate membership in cases of: Breach of these Terms, Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Cancellations (Membership)

Membership may be cancelled anytime after the first 6 months
Access continues until the end of the billing period
No partial refunds will be issued

Studio Changes & Availability
Segotia reserves the right to:

Modify schedules, facilitators, or offerings
Classes may be cancelled on occasion to facilitate other offerings in the yoga studio
Amend membership benefits where necessary

Membership fees shall not be reduced, refunded, or otherwise adjusted due to temporary studio closures, timetable changes, or a reduction in available classes.

All services are subject to availability and operational requirements.

Liability
Participation in classes and use of the Studio is voluntary and may involve physical activity.

By becoming a member, you acknowledge:

You participate at your own risk
Segotia is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings
Segotia is not liable for injury, loss, or damage except where required by law

Amendments
Segotia may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Updated terms will be made available on our website.

Agreement
By purchasing a Segotia Membership, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, alongside Segotia’s general Studio Terms & Conditions.

A Note on Community
Segotia Membership is built on trust, generosity, and shared belief in creative spaces.
Your membership supports not just your own experience, but the wider community of artists, facilitators, and participants that make Segotia what it is.

General Terms

Participants must treat the Studio, its staff and other participants with courtesy and respect at all times.
Participants should arrive 10 minutes before class. Late-comers will not be admitted once the class starts. Participants must be on their mat ahead of class start time, otherwise your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist.
Participants must be 18 years or over to attend classes or workshops unless otherwise specified.
The Studio timetable and/or teaching staff may be subject to change.
Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is strictly prohibited in all areas of the Studio including at the entrance.
Classes are subject to the space available in the studio.
Class and workshop passes (“Passes”) may not be transferred from the purchaser to any other person. Passes only be used by the named purchaser.
Student rate only applies to those in full-time education. Student Cards must be shown. Students must be 18 years or over to attend general classes and workshops.
Introductory offers can only be used once by new participants to the studio
Participants’ access and usage of the Studio is monitored by CCTV to ensure the safety and security of our Participants.
For safety reasons, bags are not permitted on the studio floor, please leave your belongings in the lockers provided.
Participants are asked to only use the lockers for the duration of their class session. Lockers cannot be used for overnight storage and are emptied at night and items removed to Lost Property.
Participants are solely responsible for their own belongings whilst visiting the Studio. The Studio accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property. Lost property is kept for a maximum of two weeks.
Evacuation routes must be kept clear at all times. Emergency equipment must not be tampered with. In case of evacuation, evacuation signs and staff instructions must be followed.
No person shall commit any nuisance on any part of the Studio.
Participants shall not at any time carelessly or negligently break or improperly interfere with any of the equipment, or furniture in the Studio. Individuals who wilfully or negligently cause damage to the Studio or equipment will be held liable for the cost of repair. Any alteration to Studio equipment may only be made with permission from management and then only under the understanding that all will be put back to its original location and format by the user.
Participants may not attend the Studio whilst under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, tranquilizers, or any medication or other substance which may affect their ability to participate safely.
Studio reserves the right to refuse admission to the studio at any time for any person.
Participants are not permitted to take video calls/photographs/videos in the studio during classes or in the changing rooms or post such items or remarks on the internet that may identify another member.
All Participants must comply with any reasonable request from Studio staff Participants in relation to Health and Safety matters and to ensure the smooth running of the studio. If any member has a concern regarding Health and Safety, they must report the issue to Studio staff Participants immediately.
Breach of these rules or disorderly, rude or offensive behaviour may result in ejection from the Studio. Any dispute will be taken up with the manager, whose decision will be final.
Use of the Studio involves physical exercise, which can be dangerous and may cause injury. Participants’ use of the Studio is voluntary. Participants voluntarily assume all risks of injury, damage, or loss which may be sustained as a result of, connected with, or in any way associated with their use of the Studio.
The Studio shall not be liable for, nor shall it accept responsibility for, any injury, loss or damage howsoever sustained by any person or persons whether arising under the express or implied terms and conditions of attending the Studio, whether direct or indirect and including consequential losses arising out of any of the activities of the Studio or in any way whatsoever which does not arise from any negligent act or omission of the Studio.
Participants fully and irrevocably indemnify, hold harmless and defend the Studio to the extent permissible under applicable law, against any and all liabilities, claims, and causes of action resulting from injuries, damages or loss (including, but not limited to, costs which may be incurred in any legal action) sustained by Participants arising from their attendance at, and use of, the Studio.
Management at the Studio reserves the right to amend and add to these conditions and rules as it sees fit, and Participants shall observe any amended or additional conditions or rules so made. Any changes to these conditions will be displayed on our website.

Class Cancellation Policy

If, for whatever reason, a Participant cannot attend a class which they have booked, it is required to give 6 hours notice to the Studio.
If a Participant has booked into a class, but fails to attend or cancels the class with less than 6 hours’ notice, they will be charged in full for the class.
All classes must be prepaid and all Participants agree to this 6 hour notice policy when cancelling and/or rescheduling any class they cannot attend.
If a class is cancelled by the Studio each Participant will be offered either a refund or the option of being transferred to an alternative class (if available).

Workshop + Course Cancellation Policy

All cancellations of a workshop or course must be made up to 72 hours before the relevant workshop or course is due to commence.
If a Participant is booked into a workshop or course but fails to attend or cancels with less than 72 hours’ notice, they will be charged for the workshop or course in full.
If a workshop or course is cancelled by the Studio each Participant will be offered either a refund or the option of being transferred to an alternative workshop or course (if available).

Class Waitlist Policy

A waitlist is available for classes when they are fully booked.
Participants may add themselves to the waitlist and in the event of a cancellation in the class, the first Participant on the waitlist will be notified of the space in the class up to 2 hours prior to class start time via email.

Studio + Gallery Hire

Booking + Cancellation Policy:

To secure your booking, a 25% deposit of the total amount is required at the time of confirmation.
This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit payment has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days (1 week) before the event date.
Failure to pay the balance by this date may result in cancellation of your booking and loss of your deposit.
Cancellations – Deposit: Non-refundable in all cases.
Full Payment: If you cancel less than 48 hours before your booking, the full amount (100%) is non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event will forfeit only the 25% deposit.
We recommend ensuring your date and details are confirmed before securing your booking, as deposits cannot be transferred or refunded.

By purchasing any of Segotia’s class or workshop passes you agree that you have read and agree to the above Terms and Conditions.
