Angela Stempel

Angela Stempel is a Venezuelan-American animator, writer/director and art director working in animation.

She has Directed, Supervised and Executive Produced animated Specials for Hulu (PEN15) and AppleTV+ (Lulu is a Rhinoceros), as well as short-form projects for Adult Swim, The New York Times and Nick Jr.

Her films have screened at the Annecy Animation Festival, Animafest Zagreb, Ottawa International Animation Festival, Pictoplasma Berlin and Encounters, among others.

Angela’s client work includes directing and animating projects for MTV, Nike, Apple Music, Culture Trip, among others. She has freelanced at Buck, Droga5, Gentleman Scholar, Collins, Hornet, and Imaginary Forces.

Having studied Experimental Animation, Art History, and Fine Arts, Angela was named Animator To Watch by Women and Hollywood.

She also has a dream side-hustle as part owner of Doom Slice, a Detroit-style pizza shop in Dublin.
