Join us for an intimate screening of ‘My Girl’, a beloved cult classic film from simpler times, before the internet, before the inheritance of responsibility, before we started to lose our way. No scrolling while half watching a comfort movie. This is pure, present, uninterrupted viewing – the way you took things in as a child.
Just as you’d ruminate while rewinding a video tape back to the start after reaching the end of a movie, we’ll spend a few minutes after watching to reflect together. A playful and entirely unserious discussion led by The Segotia Team, we’ll chat about the movie, things you might not have noticed before, and what might have come up for you while watching.
To be truly creative is to be in touch with that uninhibited childlike sense of wonder that still exists within all of us. In allowing yourself to see things as though they were brand new again, looking on in fascination and curiosity, you can allow yourself to create from a pure and joyful place.
