Join us in the gallery for an intimate Meet the Artist conversation with Leah Hewson, opening the IMMERSION weekend for her exhibition Raze the Container: Redux.
IMMERSION is a concept by Segotia: an immersive experience where an exhibition sits at the centre of a curated weekend of creative workshops and restorative events inspired by the artwork. Rather than simply viewing the exhibition, visitors are invited to step inside it; engaging with its ideas, energy, and themes.
In this relaxed morning conversation, Hewson will speak about the personal journey behind the work, which brings together sculptures from 2022 and new paintings created in 2025 following a period of creative block and transformation. Together, the works explore the breaking down and rebuilding of identity – the “container” of the self.
