Lily Walkington

Lily Walkington is a ceramic artist from Montreal, Canada. Her practice is rooted in play, curiosity, and the strange visual language of dreams. She is interested in the way our minds transform everyday experiences into unexpected imagery, creating work that is bold, colourful, and slightly surreal.

Alongside her studio practice, Lily teaches handbuilding ceramics. Her approach is shaped by her previous experience working with children, where she found endless inspiration in their curiosity, imagination, and willingness to experiment. She encourages students to approach clay with the same sense of play, focusing on exploration, process, and developing confidence in their own ideas.
