Kate Hynes

Kate Hynes is an interdisciplinary artist from Dublin. Her practice encompasses painting, drawing, performance, and animation. Fluidity and movement are very important to her, often moving between the unspecific and the specific, with imperfection and spontaneity taking priority.

Kate is one of the co-founders of Mother Art House, a blog and in-person community which offers workshops and classes in art and drawing. Mother Art House helps people fall in love with art again while meeting like-minded people. Created alongside artist Geraldine Carton, it’s a place for people who want to make art amidst life and make living itself an art.
