Full Time Role | Mon – Fri

We’re looking for a reliable, experienced barista, that has worked in speciality coffee shops, to join the Segotia team to run our coffee dock.

This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who loves great coffee, understands people, and is hungry to build something from the ground up. You’ll spearhead the day-to-day running of the coffee offering while also helping shape its brand, presence, and future direction.

The Role

• Lead the daily operation of our coffee dock
  
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee to a consistently excellent standard
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient coffee workspace
• Deliver warm, friendly customer service in line with the Segotia ethos
• Follow and improving systems and workflows for the coffee dock
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the coffee offering
• Ordering, Stock Take, Quality control

About You

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a high-quality speciality coffee shop is essential.
• Strong understanding of coffee quality, consistency, and technique
• Confident working independently and managing a small service flow
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and self-motivated
• Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions
• Excited by the challenge of building something from the ground up
• Consistent, reliable, and detail oriented
• Friendly, calm, and community minded
• Takes pride in their work and customer experience
• Social media & marketing savvy

The Details

• Contract: Full Time
• Start: Mid August
• Hours:
  • Monday – Friday | 7.30am – 3.30pm

The Role

• Lead the day-to-day running of the coffee operation
• Prepare and serve high quality coffee to a consistently high standard
• Help set systems, workflows and standards as the venture grows
• Bring ideas for menu development, service style and customer experience
• Contribute to social media, content, and marketing
• Take ownership, show initiative, and grow with the business
